NIOSH publish slides from online silver nanomaterial webinar
The US NIOSH held a public online webinar on 30 October on their reivised draft 'Current Intelligence Bulletin:  Health Effects of Occupational Exposure to Silver Nanomaterials'. The slides from the webinar, which NIA attended, are now avaiblable at the docket at regulations.gov. The public consultation on the draft CIB will end on November 30.
NIA Member Cabot Selected as A Technology Partner by The U.S. Department of Energy
Cabot Corporation, a global specialty chemicals and performance materials company and NIA member, has been selected as technology partner by the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) to develop low-cobalt cathodes for the next generation of Li-ion batteries as part of an $80 million investment initiative for advanced vehicle research.

NIOSH public consultation on nano silver deadline 30 November
The  US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health(NIOSH) has a public consultation out on nano silver where the deadline to comment is 30 November. NIOSH is also organising a public online meeting scheduled for 30 October.
