In 2018, NIA launched the Nanotechnology Innovation Council. It is a platform upon which Members come together to share recommendations for ground breaking research and technologies within nanomaterials development and implementation into nano-enabled products.
Innovation Council activities:
- Members nominate research papers, patents or other novel nanomaterials publications
- Members select and review the top rated submissions to the Council
- NIA shares a full review with Members, including all recommended items
- NIA publishes a summary into the public domain as part of long term technology monitoring within nanomaterials
