Join the EU-funded HARMLESS project for a webinar on Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) tailored for consultancy companies, SMEs, and large industries. This event will feature a live demonstration of the HARMLESS Decision Support System (DSS) using perovskites in automotive catalysis as a case study. Scheduled for 25th April 2024, from 13:00 to 15:00 CEST, this interactive session aims to showcase the HARMLESS approach to SSbD in advanced materials and offers a chance for participants to explore the application of DSS to their own materials.

In a workshop on Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) scheduled for March 7, 2024, during the ANTHOS 2024 summit in Vienna, NIA's own Sean Kelly and Blanca Suárez Merino will participate in a roundtable discussion. This event aims to examine the progress and insights gained in SSbD over the past four years, with contributions from various stakeholders, including academia, EU institutions, and industry.

5th Stakeholder workshop on "Safe and sustainable by design"

During this workshop the Joint Research Center will give an update on the outcomes of the first reporting period of the SSbD framework. We will conclude on the ways forward in order to have an improved second testing phase in spring 2024, leading to criteria development in 2025.
