In response to the Call for Information for Nanosilver by the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR), the Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) submitted, on the 4th of June 2012, a NIA reply to the call on behalf of its Members. The NIA reply consists of general remarks that all available information should be considered by the SCENIHR, when drafting their opinion as well as a large compilation of relevant scientific studies on nanosilver.
