The Working Party on Nanotechnology (WPN) of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is undertaking a project on the Responsible Development of Nanotechnology. It aims to identify policies for the responsible development of nanotechnology, as well as establishing how these policies are being implemented.

Health Canada Draft Sunscreen Guidance - Consultation - Deadline: 15 February 2013

The Health and Food Branch of Health Canada published in November 2012 a 'Draft Guidance Document: Sunscreen Monograph'. The guidance document note that supplementary information needs to be collected and made available on request by manufacturers who include nanomaterials in their products.

Guidance on the voluntary labelling of consumer products containing manufactured nano-objects (ISO/TS 13830)

A new version of the ISO TR 13830 also known as 'Labelling project' is available for consultaion for all NIA members. This document has the potential of affecting all aspects of cunsumer goods that contain manufactured nanomaterials.
