Published in the Belgian Official Journal in September 2014, the Royal Decree on the Market Placement of Manufactured Nanoparticle Substances - C-2014/24329 [in Dutch and French], will come into force in January 2016. So as to prepare the implementation of this reporting scheme, and as a follow-up from the discussions held at the 2014 NIA Symposium: 'Expert Analysis on Nano-Regulation and -Policy: Staying Ahead of the Curve’, NIA is collecting questions and comments on this piece of legislation. Questions and comments will then be channelled to the Belgian Federal Public Service, Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment, responsible for the implementation of the registry.
NIA Members are invited to submit their comments via email to Dr Steffi Friedrichs by 19 March 2015 at 12.00 CET.
