The European Commission has formally adopted its recommendation on the revised Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) assessment framework for chemicals and materials. The recommendation calls on industry and researchers to engage with the framework's implementation, with the aim of accelerating a broader shift toward sustainable practices.
