Safe and Sustainable by Design: Accelerating the Industrial Transition Conference

Registration is open for the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD): Accelerating the Industrial Transition conference, taking place in hybrid format (Brussels and online) on 19 March 2026. Registration for in-person participation closes on 26 February.

Organised by the European Commission, this sixth SSbD stakeholder conference will introduce the revised Commission Recommendation on SSbD chemicals and materials. The event provides an opportunity for industry, policymakers, and researchers to discuss practical implementation pathways for SSbD, and to exchange views on supporting a more sustainable materials transition.
