EFSA: Methodology workstream includes NAMs for nanomaterials/nanoparticles

EFSA’s methodology topic page highlights ongoing work to develop recommendations on the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for the risk assessment of nanomaterials and nanoparticles in food and feed. The workstream focuses on supporting their implementation in EFSA evaluations and on reducing animal testing through mechanistic, non-animal approaches.
