Advanced Material Development Ltd (AMD), a proud member of the Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA), has entered into a new 10-year commercial partnership with the University of Sussex. This exciting collaboration will drive the development and commercialization of nanomaterial inks and coatings for a variety of consumer and industrial applications, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and smart windows.

With an initial investment of £2.6 million over the first three years, the partnership aims to advance sustainable technologies like conductive inks for smart windows and electromagnetic shielding coatings for electric vehicles. These innovations could have a transformative impact, particularly in sustainable heat management and electric vehicle design.

AMD’s Chief Scientific Advisor, Professor Alan Dalton of the University of Sussex, leads a team working to create real-world solutions that will benefit global customers, including NASA and the UK and US government agencies.
