The Royal Society of Chemistry has published an article discussing the status, implications, and challenges of the European safe- and sustainable-by-design (SSbD) approach, as well as its applicability to nano and advanced materials.
The article draws on the results of a joint workshop held with the participation of a number of EU-funded projects in the area of SSbD, including the SUSNANOFAB project of which NIA is a partner. It can be consulted at this link.
