The OSOA approach is part of the European Green Deal and aims to simplify safety assessment across different European Regulatory Frameworks, with a final goal to unify registration and risk assessment of chemicals on the European market. The OSOA approach also includes a common information sharing platform. On 1 April 2025, the European Parliament voted in favour of this proposal.
