NIA hosted its second open regulatory webinar of 2017 on July 5, combined with a welcome presentation from new Member, VITO.
NIA kick off the webinar with a look at priorities in July, that included the catalogue of nanomaterials in cosmetics, ECHA news on guidelines, Board of Appeal outcomes for both titanium and silicon dioxide and newly launched observatory, the Swedish register and finally REACH annex and definition status update.
We then handed over to latest Member VITO, who presented their extensive research and development capabilities from their 750-strong research centre in Belgium. NIA looks forward to seeing VITO fully active within the Association and part of the NIA community.
