The NIA Regulatory Committee met on the 4.12.2024 to reflect on the NIA views regarding the published NAMs Qualification System from the NAMs4nano project coordinated by BfR (Germany). The proposed NAMs Qualification System seeks to achieve a “regulatory quality stamp” on non-validated NAMs for their use in risk assessment. The NIA Regulatory Committee agreed on a series of elements currently missing from the report but regarded important for successful implementation of the proposed Qualification System. The NIA will timely submit our views on the report and will look forward to collaborating with next steps in this highly relevant project
