The European Commission Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) has a dedicated Working Group on Nanomaterials in Cosmetic Products. The minutes from its meeting on 28th of March has recently been made available.
The minutes indicates new mandates for Copper and Colloidal copper, as well as a draft mandate on hydroxyapatite (nano). DG GROW informed about new mandates for Platinum and Gold and that calls for information for data are beein planned. Draft opinions on TiO2 for UV filters were also discussed.
