On 30th September the EU Commission published the 22nd Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 amending Table 3 of Part 3 of Annex VI to CLP through the introduction of 27 new harmonised classifications, which include modifications of 16 entries and deletes 7 harmonised classifications. These amendments come into effect on 1st May 2026.
The nanomaterials concerned include:

Multi-walled carbon tubes with a geometric tube diameter range ≥ 30nm to < 3 µm and a length ≥ 5 µm and aspect ratio > 3:1, including MWCNTs. The classification states Carc. 1B, STOT RE 1, H350i, H372 (lung inhalation), GHS08 Dgr, STOT RE 1; H372: C ≥ 1%, STOT RE 2; H373: 0.1% ≤ C < 1%
