The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will expedite TSCA reviews for new chemicals intended for data center applications, effective September 29, 2025. The change responds to Executive Order 14318.
This prioritization covers chemicals used in data center projects or manufacturing of covered components. Manufacturers can request prioritization by submitting a CDX cover letter identifying their chemical's data center applications. EPA will maintain review standards for all submissions while accelerating AI infrastructure development.
