Nanomaterial discussions at CARACAL meeting 6-7 November 2019

During the CARACAL meeting on 6-7 Novmeber 2019 a few documents up for discussion on the agenda were related to nanomaterials.
 
The first document outlined current ECHA activities in preparation for the 1 January 2020 deadline to update REACH registriation dossiers with information on nanoforms. 
It covers 4 main topics
  1. Progress report on documents including guidance publication
  2. New IT tools (IUCLID update)
  3. Dissemination
  4. Communication and awareness
The second document is a summary report on on the functioning of EUON, the European Observatory on Nanomaterial and is based on the INTERIM Ex-post evaluation of the European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON) from ECHA.
