Join NIA for the IndTech2022 Conference held from 27th to 29th June in Grenoble, France.

The European Conference on Industrial Technologies is a flagship event in the European agenda, organized every two years by the European Commission. Under the programme of Horizon Europe ‘s cluster 4: “Digital, Industry and Space”, the conference will mobilise key players worldwide around the theme of the industrial technologies of tomorrow.

NanoCommons, in collaboration with the EU NanoSafety Cluster projects, organises the “Nano-week” and NanoCommons Final Conference, in Limassol, Cyprus.

The theme of the conference is “Evolution of Nanosafety and materials sustainability as we transition into Horizon Europe”.

The conference and associated events (e.g., Young NanoSafety Researchers event, Training events, EU-US CoRs meeting, NanoInChi meeting, NSC meeting) will take place between 20-24 June 2022.

On Thursday, January 13^th 2022, the NanoCommons team, in a joint initiative with the NanoSafety Cluster, is offering an interactive online workshop on implementing Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) for nanosafety assessment.  

This event will discuss how and why nanomaterials and the relevant research are sometimes misrepresented in the media, and how this can negatively affect the sector.

We will hear from science and media experts on what researchers should keep in mind when addressing the broader public; how companies can address negative coverage and improve their communications strategies; and look at concrete examples of risk governance and communication developed in EU projects
