NIA’s Director of Advocacy David Carlander has lamented elements of the newly-introduced Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), stating that, “we would have preferred the Regulation to be technically neutral”. NIA has submitted its comments to the Danish EPA's public consultation, which was launched 4 July 2013. This was related to a draft executive order for a register of mixtures and products that contain or release nanomaterials, and obligated manufacturers and importers to provide information to the register
