The European Union Scientific Committee for Consumer Safety (SCCS) has launched a consultation on two draft opinion documents for the following nanomaterials:
- Styrene/Acrylates copolymer (nano) and Sodium styrene/Acrylates copolymer (nano)
- Colloidal Silver (nano)
For both preliminary opinions, SCCS presents unconclusive conclusions, as the committee was not able to decide on the safety of the materials due to insufficient data.
The consultation period will close on 11 and 15 May 2018.
