The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work has published an infosheet on manufactured nanomaterials in the workplace. The infosheet informs that occupational exposure levels should be kept well below the threshold limits applicable for the corresponding bulk materials, and that, if possible it is preferable if nanomaterials are handled as a slurry or paste to reduce occupational exposure via inhalation.

The infosheet also lists EU directives and regulation relevant for the workplace and occupational exposure.

There infosheet also provides a link to the OSHwiki page on nanomaterials where more information is available.
