NIA took part in the ECHA-hosted webinar “Registering nanoforms: practical advice”, hosted in response to the, according to ECHA, relatively low number of REACH dossier updates on January 1 for nanoforms, and the quality of information in the dossiers submitted. This will be part of more actions in 2020 to help support the successful completion of nanoform dossiers.

The webinar included examples of dossiers that would be considered incomplete or requiring modification e.g. nanoform sets with a broad size range beyond the smallest or largest actual sizes, lack of scientific justification, lack of links to IUCLID for characterisation or hazard data.

The recording of the webinar is publicly available HERE and NIA Members can access annotated Q&A from the webinar in the Library of the Members' area (password protected).
