On 15 January 2018, the Belgian Official Journal (Moniteur Belge) published a decree modifying the Royal Decree setting up the Belgian Nanomaterial Register.
It modifies the provisions of the nanomaterial register as follows:
- ‘Cosmetic Products’ as defined by the Belgian Royal Decree of 17 July 2017 on Cosmetic Products are now exempted from registration.
- Provisions regarding the registration of mixtures, originally set to enter into force on 1 January 2017 are now applicable from 1 January 2018.
